Mimecast Sending Secure Message and Document Conversion with Removing Metadata (Scrubbing)

Sending a secure message provides a user friendly, secure channel for sending and receiving sensitive information via email with external recipients.  External recipients receive a notification inviting them to view the message in the Portal.  You will learn that the message does not pass through the recipient’s email server and can only be seen by the recipient.

Learn about document conversion and removing metadata. When sending an email with an attachment it is highly recommended to strip revision information (Metadata) from documents.  You will learn to remove document properties, author credentials, and macros.  You will learn how to retain tracked changes and comments and how to convert the attachment to a PDF when sending.
