What’s New in Office 365
In this training session we show attorneys and their staff the new features in Office 365. See below for a description of each application that we will cover.
Outlook
The Calendar experience has been made more productive, visual, and easy to scan. They included a Time bar indicator, Badges, and Today is in a new spot. The Backstage now has Options and an Office Theme. Learn to use Quick Steps, Focus Inbox View and Quick Parts.
Word
See how to use the Backstage and the Tell Me (Alt Q). Learn the five default settings that many people in the legal industry fight on a daily basis. Learn how to simply change the defaults for all new documents to their desired specifications for margins, font type, font size, line spacing, and spacing before and after a line. Create your own Quick Access Toolbar to simplify working in a document. Learn how to open a PDF in Word and have it auto converted for editing.
Excel
See the new charts they added to Excel. Learn how to use Slicers in a Pivot Table and see how Flashfill can automatically fill your data when it senses a pattern.
PowerPoint
We will look at the Clip Art now opening Bing.com for inserting pictures. Learn how to work with Header and Footers for your slides. Learn how to add notes to each slide and print your note pages separately. Learn how to turn on Presenter View so the view allows you to see your speaker notes on one computer while the audience views the presentation on a different screen.
